Downtime for 6.0.2 Patch on 14/15.10.2014

inb4 "i want an honorbuddy lite. just to do CC."

In my experience whenever someone says they are using another both while waiting for HB I also hear, "boy was I wrong." Take that as you will. I will patiently wait for HB to be ready.
 
Tried 2 different bots because they are ready to use and deleted them after 10 min.

same here. never seen a bot with combat routines like HB.
Everything that works atm is a whole bunch of mess
 
Hmm, something interesting instead of screaming...

I have used other bots before too. I use honorbuddy for the raid bot, I hurt my left hand pretty bad and my pointy finger doesnt point properly anymore :(

PQR was awesome, and for a long time I used that instead of honorbuddy. I had to write my own rotations in lua, but that was pretty easy. Once that got picked up, honorbuddy is really the only other bot that offers such a good rotation bot that's easy to code for. It's worth the wait... Even if I am tempted to take a peek for an lua unlocker in the meantime ;)

Lot of changes guys. Plus hotfixes to wow. Rest assured there are many people working on it.


3rd party devs are aware of most changes and are currently making changes as well. Thousands of man hours are being crushed into a small amount of time.

As an example, imagine reading 1 page of code vs 1000 pages. The other bots have very little complexity in comparison to HB. Easy for someone to read over it, make some changes. HB is more like a Skyscraper. You can't modify things on the bottom floor without changing all the floors above.

You do realize that this isn't necessarily a sign of "complexity", but merely bad design? :)

yes but it's better that nothing....and i find a bot not so bad with "combat bot " but i agree at this time hb is better than other bots especially crs

I feel you there, i bought 3 package lifetime after constantly doing the monthly for a few times. now i just use 1 key since i dont multibox for certain reasons, but i atleast if a friend needs to help me with a class they suck at playing i can let them use the other unused keys i have to not be so shitty when they play with me...ironically i dont really use my key other than farming and playing 3 alt classes i completely blow at lol and cant play without botting

All the ones that i've tested have been so bad that my manual playing DPS was much more better and I really act like a big retard :D
 
I'm running Kick's Profile with singular too.. and working very well!
 
Gatherbuddy running with Megaroute and it seems to be working flawlessly... I had trouble with BG Buddy... kept getting "Honorbuddy Stopped" during the BG and the bot would stop responding but there is a good chance it was user error.

Edit: Feral Combat Routine (Singular) appears to still be trying to mangle when the new talent is shred. Combat Routine struggling a bit during farming but bot functioning great.

So far so good. I expected more bugs, this works fairly flawlessly. My profiles are messed up but that was to be expected :)
Sofar hasnt crashed or anything.
Thanks team HB for doing this with such amazing speed.
