I've noticed lately that once I launch the third instance of d3 and dbuddy the entire d3 window will freeze once combat starts somewhere. Really annoying. It is also completely random. Sometimes - on a bad day - it will start within seconds. Other times it will run for an hour or so then freeze.
When it freezes you can see that dbuddy is still logging info, and if sound is enabled I can hear the window doing stuff in combat, but the video is completely frozen. After a while it will freeze completely and you have to kill d3 and start over.
So far I've been testing various gfx settings and am to the point where all eye candy is completely disabled: vsync, aliasing, shadows, clutter, etc. Low fx enabled. Still haven't found a permanent solution yet.
Doesn't make much sense because before I botted d3 I used to multibox it with 4 accounts at once. Never froze, so it appears to be dbuddy induced.
I don't want to jinx myself but I notice if I launch d3, attach dbuddy, don't load or start any profile, go into combat somewhere for a bit, then start a profile, that seems to help.
