Help Optimizing a Ghom bot for speed

So i'm running a common t6 ghom run on a pet wd, getting roughly 68-72 gph, 11.5b gold/h and 2.1b xp/h.
I'm wandering what should I do to cut any curves i can to reduce the length of the game?

The ghom kill can't get any faster (3s), and I reduced the wait time between games to .2-.5s.
I also reduced some wait values like picking up items and such but im not a pro scripter so yea.

One thing i KNOW would drop the time by at least 2 seconds is using the map instead of the way-point when the game starts.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Here is a link to the ghom bot im using.
This being done on a pet witch doctor.

There's little point in increasing your GPH since it will simply make you hit the 42002 threshold faster but if you're desperate there was a thread a while back about Ghom on WD for T6 where we managed to achieve 77GPH+. A brief search of the forums and you should find it relatively easily. :)

Interesting, before i continue what is the 42002 threshold :O?

It's an error you get when you create too many games over a sustained period. Blizzard's way of throttling servers iirc (don't quote me on that I'm no expert! :p). Even at your current GPH you'll get it eventually, ofc if you only bot say 6 hours per day it shouldn't be an issue (but that's just my best guess, can't guarantee).

I'm actually reading some of your posted logs now. And im using everything you are, getting 3 second ghom kills, and still not seeing over 70-72gph

What am I doing wrong?

I do notice he pop's fetish army while still in the hallway which stops the spirit walk, so that could potentially be 1.5 seconds as well.

Hm, are you sure you're using literally everything? Because if so, i'm not sure what to tell you. The biggest difference maker for me was shukrani's, if you're using the same gear and achieving 5gph less I'm not sure what I can say to help ;<

Yea im using it but like i edit'd above, he disables it when he uses fetish army and walks the hallway without it.
Also he uses the wp instead of the map, which would be faster but idk if thats possible.

I'm willing to bet that the hallway thing is the cause, that never happened on my runs. Spirit Walk wasn't cancelled until I was in combat with Ghom (which is why I used Umbral Shock for some additional burst), as for how to fix that; I'm not sure.

Edit: Pretty sure people have had that issue before now that I think about it. I think some forum searching should yield a fix.

Ah yep thats it then.
Hmm ill try to work on that.
If you don't mind what were your actual game times from entering the game to entering the game again?
Like timed, if you ever did that since thats pretty accurate.

Nope, strictly legs only (not even gold etc). So yeah, that's likely adding a bit. As I said at the time I don't think 77 is the cap, I'm sure someone with better load times/net etc could push it further!

I honestly don't think anything past 77-78 is possible.
I crunched some numbers and evern dropping substantial seconds wouldn't put it over 80 and thats with a 2-3s ghom kill.
I was just trying to get the max out of it I could though, but I also want to run for at least 10-15h at a time, which means I probably won't push it much further now that i know about this game cap error.

Also I have the fastest possible d3 load times, and zero lag issues so im good there.
Will do a bit of tinkering today though.

You may well be right. Good luck and God speed.
;)
Yea just changed a few things and went to 79/h and apparently if i can get map use it should cap at 83.4/h.
I was slightly wrong XD.
I probably wouldn't run it like this though since its porting instantly after the kill not even getting gold, but it's a fun experiment.

Yeah, it sucks. If that error didn't exist I would just leave my char at Ghom, creeping up on 1k hours played on WD and no SMK :( lol

how you doing 80 gph i only do 48gph on my pet fire wd lol

I'll just say that it was a combo of reducing time spend idling (after game, between scripted commands, and certain skills used), as well as
making sure the kill speed is no more than 3.5s/kill. Lastly the passive that adds move speed while not in combat as well as spirit walk off hand
all make a pretty big difference. The biggest time reducer to hit 80/h is using the map and also not picking up any loot and starting the tp when ghom's
life is at about 75% (the pets kill before you leave). All of this together put the gph at 80 min, and goes up and down just pending on small variables.
Like i said though, there is no reason for this because now to my knowledge there is a (game-per-day?) cap so running at 70 or below is optimal, as well
as actually picking up the loot XD.

PS. Poison does the job quicker than fire imo.

well this is my stats lol
