Superbad 4.0 (Druid Routine)

Handnavi any plan on implementing manual cast detection? I know you can pause the routine but sometimes its faster than pausing the routine to have it detect you're pressing Displacer Beast for instance.

Hi, Characture,

We just check all three links in the first post, and they all work fine. The problem is with your browser. You should google how to clear caches, check that your AV package is not blocking something, etc.

As far as the missing PvP manual, F299 had this to say in this recent post:
"Do you not read front page? He did link a guide that I posted for arena usage. Although, it's not up-to-date since I stopped playing feral. Might pick up again. But in the meantime, you should get the idea of the set up."​

Handnavi clearly does not PvP ("I have no clue about PVP"). F299 said the guide was 'stale'. So, we assume it was taken down because it was no longer useful.

Dear Handnavi

With this little cc ive manage to change my reputation as a "decent" feral druid social to a "skilled and dependable" raider in the same guild, over the last year. Now i've been asked if i want to keep my feral dps spot (and tanking os) in the guild or if i want to swap main in WOD.

My answer will 100% depend on if Superbad will be continued in WOD :=)

If you want the absolute best number, download Catus. Get your char from armory and sim your dps. It will give you an average with +-.

Is there any tutorial on how to use this? I downloaded it, loaded my charr, set up all the options.. and dunno what to do next, i cant find how to simulate and get the results. Ty in advance for help :)

Also just click around in it. Find new shit. Try new buttons. Make sure to use multiple tabs when you finished researching and doing actual comparesents. Trinket sim is the best thing imo, i love how you checkmark trinkets that you have or that you will have in near future and it sims all of them with individual reforges for each and every one of them. So good, makes me drool.

Not as much as Handnavi's routine though :) Btw, cleared and ranked in top30 without RoRs, and yes i know most super druids ranked 9 months ago with 10ilvl less lol... And sick of the game by now. So till WoD!
 
Im trying to tank, all options are set up as they should, i had marked ON "Enable Boss Taunt Logic" and second tank was on my /Focus but rotation does not taunt off on specific number of stacks per boss? I had to manually taunt every single boss in SoO LFR, am i doing something wrong? I have tried to search trough this topic, but it looks like im only one with the problem.

To note, im using Elv UI, DBM and some auction/quality of life addons. I have turned off everything under "Mobility" settings in ruotine, other than that i didnt touch any of the settings in routine, everything is by default.

Gotta post a log, I'm sure. I think the people who are offering support here since handnavi isn't around much anymore require a log for help. Just sayin', that's all.
 
Handnavi is always around :)

Savage roar is being used all the time, so not sure why one poster is having issues.
And my taunt logic does not work as well. I tried few times in flex, gave up and successfully tanked 12/14h. On my cat, with full reforge/gem/ench for tank:) Paragons was really tough, was getting raped without actual tank gear.

I agree, i thought that my issue is something easy to fix as i saw that noone had/have it beside me. I thought that i did something wrong in config, but it looks like thats not the case.

Every Growl is cast by me, or Routine used it on trash. During boss encounters i had to manually cast Growl every time. I tried to test this by allowing following debuffs to go above number set in routine to see will routine taunt boss off the other tank:

Amalgam debuff went up to 5, Galakras debuff went up to 6, Dark Shamans debuff went up to 7, Nazgrim debuff went up to 5, Malkorok debuff up to 15 and Blackfuse's up to 6. I did it on purpose to test routine on fights where i could risk higher stacks since offtank was good, still lower ilvl than mine.

Not a single cast of Growl during boss encounter went off which is odd as it works as it should when dealing with trash.

You will also see a lot of opening and closing of routine settings as i wanted to figure out what is happening.

Nice and GJ! I started tanking today actualy on my druid after having some fun on beta with new cat form. Due to current Mist/Fistweaving monk changes i think that i wont be playing monk as Main, rather druid looks extremely fun. If something doesnt change for healing monks im moving to druid for sure. New glyph of Savagery makes savage roar passive with 35% damage boost (down from 40% without glyph). This makes feral rotation.. extremely easy and fluent and super fun. :)

Good to know that im not the only one with the problem.

I had the same problem when trying to tank with my druid (along with some other problems). I tried to ask handnavi some questions but did not get an answer, so I am waiting for tuanha's routine now (should be available in three days I hope). At least you get better support with tuanha's routines.

Thats not what I've heard, a lot of people complain hes got too many CR's going and not time to give support for all.
He wont be as thorough with the feral/guardian PVE-part as Handnavi has been, I can tell you that for certain.


And if you take tanking any serious, you wouldnt leave things like taunting to the bot but do crucial things like that manually.

Give Handnavi some credit though hes on hiatus atm, hes made this CR a beast from the beginning (King of the Jungle).
 
Just a small heads up:

I am here every day and i read every post that is being made here.
I am just tired of people ignoring very simple rules.
Please note, that this routine is a hobby for me and i dont take any money for it (and there is no special pro paid king power player version).

I've decided that i wont answer people that:
- are not able to read the post #1 - #3
- have read post #1 - #3 and still do not offer a log file

At the moment i am preparing Superbad for WoD in my spare free time - so i do not code much for this version.
Also i dont have got an active WoW subscription, so testing is at the moment not easy.

Hey,

i am not quite sure, but you could test to assign a key to Growl in the Superbad GUI.
I actually cant remember if this is needed.
With this key you can activate / deactive growl with a simple keypress ingame.
I remember that this has worked for me the last time i tested it @ SoO.

I think its a good idea.

Will look into this + saving / loading of config files as a next step.

Hey Overnaturlig,

i am happy that the routine works good for you.
I plan to continue the support of Superbad for WoD - so feel free to start with a Feral!
