Can someone tell me what I can do to test this myself? I'm running freshly installed DB and ever since patch it just decides to lag up the game so bad it can't run. How do I test this in the simplest way possible to see what the problem is? I heard something about a Waittimer profile if someone could direct me to a download for that.

I'm 99% sure this is a problem that has to do with Demonbuddy not communicating with the D3 client, as if the code is looping and hitting dead ends or something, because the game is fine without DB, my computer still runs fine with other programs while this is going on. Does anyone have a clue about this?

set D3 process on a higher than normal priority

Hadn't tried that actually. Tried now but no better. Is there any things to watch out for now that the battle.net launcher is in play with the recent patch?

I don't know what to do. When bot initiates to make game there is no lag. But once that load screen finishes it's toast. Funny because I can tell there are short fragments of time in between the bot trying to communicate with the client, and in those half-seconds or whatnot there will actually be no lag. Pause the bot = no lag. Resume bot = massive lag.

it happens on every profile?

Yes but I only know of profiles that require Trinity. Could you link me to one that can allow me to test it without the use of Trinity?

Edit: FIXED, Good lord it so happens at the exact same time I downloaded the patch I reinstated my "intelli-guard" for PC Tools anti-virus almost on a whim, and so the whole time I thought it was the patch. Add that program to the list. Close!
