Wizard T6 Ghom build 55-65 GPH

Hello. I'm done with my WD, now switch to Wiz, anyone has build to farm Ghom at T6 for 55-65 game per hour (i dont mind error code 42002 becos i know the way to fix it). Thanks for sharing !

You need practically THE best gear to do T6 ghom on wiz. A perfect Mara's too and even then you wouldn't get 55-60 games, probably 50 games, max.

I think fastest way to kill ghrom is Magic missile + hydra. But you need best gear for t6.

If you have Wand of Woh then Blast is best.

Vyrs works vith arcon.

I have tals+ vyrs wizard and best i can do is t5 and only 45g per hour.

I do t6 with pet wd 55 g per hour.
 
I do t6 Ghom. Need maras imo to be efficient. Mirrorball with magic missile conflagrate will do all the work. Other than that spec out for max dps since you dont need toughness with maras. 50 gph no instant leave. Takes ~22-24 secs to kill and lots of room for improvement on gear. If you dont have maras do kulle until you do. Kulle is ez-mode with arcane/archon build with moonlight ward.

Edit: Oh, and I dont have wow. If i did Id like to think I could do it 10 secs or so faster.

22-24 seconds T6 ghom and u get 50 games per hour?? I kill t5 ghom in about 14-18 seconds and barely get 55 games per hour and that's with instant leave. I don't know how you're managing that. I have an SSD too, so it's not like my loads are slow.

Anyways, if you've got the gear. Passive's would be glass cannon, audacity, conflag, and unwavering will for fire build. Skills you would use are spark flint, pinpoint barrier, force weapon, slow time(10% dmg), explosive blast-chain reaction, and teleport i guess for your last skill.

I'm curious what is this fix you have for creating too many games. Please do share.

It really depends on how you measure the time to kill him ^^

Take 8 seconds to kill T6 GHOM

60-65 games per hour

So what's the way to fix 42002?

Is it a known fact that maras drops more on kulle? I have a near perfect one on an account I just started, but it's not geared out much and still very low para, so I can't really use it for t6 ghom farming (so I'm still grinding to find one w/ my highly geared account).
 
How to edit a combat routine for wizard(farm ghom T6) in the next way:
Change the wizard routine to use Electrocute (Lightning Blast) and Slow Time (Time Warp) as the first two skills. Then you change Elemental Exposure passive to Arcane Dynamo. When you hit 5 times with electrocute you're damage will be increased by 60% during the entire duration of the Archon beam.
To maximize efficiency I would suggest using Electrocute as left click and cast for 3 seconds, then use right click Slow Time (Time Warp) for 10% increased damage and immediately initiate Archon.
 
Don't listen to these chuckle-heads. The best build is as follows for T6 Ghom: Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III

Concentrate on as much Fire dmg, critical chance + critical damage, and durability as possible. To do T6 Ghom on a Wizard you'll also need Unity, Templar Follower, and Templar immortality Legendary Relic. Mara's is also helpful because most of Ghom's dmg comes from those poison smoke things. You might even be able to do Ghom without a Set of Unities if you use a Mara's.

How does this work?

Meteor Shower hits 7 times each time it is cast. My Wizard can cast a total of 3-4 times before he is out of Power. He's also got "Crit dmg == more Power" items. With each successful Meteor Shower hit each hit has a chance to be a critical strike. With all of the dmg to elite & fire that you've stacked each critical hit will be about 8 to 14 million. Stack that a couple times ontop of Ghom with time-slow increasing the dmg he takes by another 10% per hit and you've got yourself a melting gallery.

I think recently they may have increased the radius of Meteor Shower to decrease single-target damage but I haven't played my Fire wizard in about 2 Patches now. Before that my Wizard was roasting T5 Ghom in under 10 seconds, but I didn't have Unity OR Maras to get him to survive T6 Ghom :(.

Im making exactly 55-60 games per hour. Ghom is down for about 14 sec. Build is Explosive blast + Magic Missle confra. But my gear is almost perfect (as example - wand of Woh 2490 DPS 702 int+ socket) Also super cheaty thing is The Furnace for your companion.

Kudos sounds like a bomb wizard and a craay woh.
 
I get 35 GPH on my wizard in average gear and doing the math its the best for me to do T6 versus other difficulties and stay full HP the whole time.

Still trying to gear my WD to be able to do it faster.
