not sure if it was him but someone was going through and literally renaming profiles form other dev's and labeling it as their own....I am not accusing him at all because i never saw this profile but that could be an option.

I tried Rifter Core and it doesn't work with the new trinity and DB updates. Meet's rifter works though.

Yeah there was talk on the main Rifer thread about that - the day that Meet's profile came out NoWay was upset because someone ripped the core of his code and made slight adjustments. I think the DB rules on that are kind of subjective, but I imagine you can't take the meat and potatoes of a profile that's actively being worked on and call it your own.

meet gave credit to NoWayLol on the first post at the top of the page. I remember it was there because I actually read the threads before posting bullshit in them.

Kind of an unfortunate situation. I'm sure NoWay would be down to collaborate with Meet though and work on it together, and it'd be great for all the users because we'd get the best of both profiles.

ye meets profile ran really much much better, whoever deleted it, made a misstake

i saw aswell that he used maybe way to much of nowaylols code, but he really made alot of additions to it (killing the boss, restarting the games, recognizing boss kills etc)

i think someone should apologize and reopen the thread, please i really wanna bot rifts...

I don't want to stir up shit really, but I figured I'd just throw in my 2 cents.

Originally Meet's thread had no credit to me, in fact the original post said he had completely wrote the profile. After pointing it out he added in the credit, I was alright with that and moved on.

Even still with that in mind, that profile was still using 95% of the coding from my profile. There was absolutely no point in having 2 profiles, in the same section, that did pretty much the same damn thing.

As an additional side note, to people saying his worked better, not overly sure how that would be possible because it handled every step the exact same way, because it was all ripped from my profile lol. Except for the boss killing part, which mine does that now as well.

I have been running mine now for about an hour with no issues, it has completed 4 rifts and is as I am typing this currently doing a 5th one. Minor stucks here and there, but the core of it is working mostly. Once I get a dev to get me the maphash for the Boss icon, it will never miss a Rift Boss, and it will be mostly afk-ready.

I understand what Meet was trying to accomplish, by trying to get a Rift profile that worked, but he went about it completely wrong. There was no reason to steal my profile and create a new thread (again originally claiming it as his own) a day after I released mine. He could have joined in with me as many other from the community have, and suggested code changes to better the profile as a whole.

Anyway, that's mostly what I wanted to say on the subject. Not trying to bash anyone or step on anyone's toes here, just trying to clear the air with the facts of it. See yall 'round.

I would be upset too if I were you NoWayLol, but after he gave you credit, I think that should be the end of it.

It's better for the community there are more than 1 rift profile. I know you think they accomplish the same thing, but they do not. For example, some people want to leave as soon as the bot kill the boss, some people want to keep going till the whole rift is explore. Some will want to use their blood shard, some will want to do bounty in between rifts. The dream is to have ONE profile that can handle it all with no bugs or stuck, but one super profile can not handle everything without causing one bug or another.

Having different profile for specific type of rifting will be easier and better for the community. Having different choices is not a bad thing. I hope they let Meet put his profile back up so he can work on it with a different direction than NoWayLol. Will it be better or worse? We won't know unless we let him try. You both can take what each other come up with and make each of your profile better.

Hope it all works out. I just want to bot while AFK.

Doesn't really matter to me who makes the profile as long as it works and I've been using NoWayLol's profile all day with it being 99.9% afkable.... not sure why everyone keeps saying it's not.
