Why is everyone botting now?

Hey all,

after this last patch and the loss of gold trading i'm struggling to find any reason or motivation to continue botting..

I would like to know if you're still botting why are your reasons for continuing since the last patch...

What is the reward now that real money is gone from this game?

I never botted for money reasons, I just liked to up some chars that I usually don't play with. So, for me it's all the same, I play when I can and when I can't bot plays for me o/. Diablo is just a great game.

Same for me as well.. Have never used the bot to make money in anyway.. Just use it to break the monotony that can sometimes be Diablo 3.

I was botting d3 for some extra cash and upgrading my main.... now it'll just be for upgrading.

I just bought a db key to start botting so I can work on other stuff while still having a higher paragon level than my cousin.

To Demoralize my friends that GRIND for hours on end while playing Rift or Reading some books in the meanwhile.

I am doing the same. I enjoy having the highest of paragon that I can obtain, as well as better items than my friends.

THIS! And to maintain a higher paragon than friends - that i wouldn't be able to if i had to play the same amount of hours
