TuanHA Hunter - The Ultimate Experience

well, it would be really sad, if tuan stops supporting pve. his mistweaver routines was the best and would be still the best if some bugs would be eeminated. tho you still don't know if it's the routine or hb in it's current state. as for pure rotation, i don't have good exp with this. before 5.4 i used to compare pure rotation and tuanha and tuanha did more dps by far on the dummy. as for frost mage, wow-king routine was outdmg pure rotation. i know tuan needs to fix some bugs, but then i think it would outplay pure rotation.

besides the "pure rotation" dps i love the logic within tuanha's routines. i love how it would use redirect while questing and i love how it auto targets. the monk routine would automatically heal NPCs on bosses and stuff. i need more than just pure rotations ;)
 
oh and ppl complain, yes. because the routine they love does not work propper. they could switch to another routine anytime given. but they don't for good reasons. i do think tho, that tuan has too many routines by now to be fast as he use to be, which makes me really sad. looking at millz how fast he fix and update things reminds me how it used to be with tuan ^^ i wish he would stop support sooo many routines and stick for one or two and make em perfect like they once where.

I'm not sure what you're talking about to be honest. I just used PureRotation latest rev on my ilv 513 Surv hunter and was only pull about 76k DPS. Will with Tuan Special Edition CR I pull around 105k on target dummies. Unless i'm setting up PureRotation wrong then Tuan's is by far the better CR at the moment.
 
indeed. i just did a 3min test on the boss dummy with the latest purerotation version.i took standard settings on both routines, with AoE turned off. tuanha's did 110k dps while purerotation was doing 104k dps. considering tuanha's routines is a little bit broken right now, this is so lol.
 
Hmm there must be still something wrong with movement or something then - because there is DEFINITELY some issues with the CR when you using it in a raid / in arena.

On target dummy - it works perfect, you stand still whole time and just go afk and let the CR do it's damage rotation. When you come back it looks really good!

On player in ARENA - as BM it's not using Kill Command nearly as much as it should, always out of focus, don't use Cobra shot enough to regain focus, spamming Arcane Shot when don't have enough Focus for Kill Command so can't use Kill Command.

This all with Rev 48.

As much as I love Tuan's rogue and Pally routines (haven't tried monk), I think he needs to drop down to 2-3 CR's MAXIMUM. It is taking too long for him to respond to all of us and fix all the issues that go wrong with all his routines.

I think the ones that work best are definitely his Hunter / Dk / Shaman / Rogue - so he need to pick the best 2-3 routines out of there and give them 100% support, or the quality of all his routines are going to suffer greatly.

didn't he said his main is a monk? it's a shame you haven't try his monk routine yet. it's the best mistweaver routine i've come across ever. i love it so much i made a 100% mistweaver (pve/pvp specs) dedicated to this routine and made it my main :)

so here is a log of flex soo part 1. my 530 hunter did less dmg than my girlfriend(!) with her 522 hunter. we both are BM and have the same talents. especially on AOE fights she would outdmg me by far. the most extreme fight was immerseus. for some reason the CR was pulling only 65k dps on him. i tried to convince my gf to use the CR, since it would always play perfectly and has no downtime. today i wanted to show her how powerfull my hunter is with the CR. now she laughs at me lol

Not sure if the problem still there.

I've made update for hunter, there are a few flaw logic in AoE for Survival and if fixed.

For BM, I'll need more test :D

@cmavo87: I need a balance between "making less CRs" and people PM asking nicely for "making more CRs"

Well it's the start of the season, HB, my CRs, APIs are not working as intended... Something worked well in 5.3 suddenly broken for no reason... but I'm sure we will fix it overtime.

spaming arcane if proc offc are good, (small focus are in 5.4) he cant spam cobra still to get focus (less dmg) or oponent is still running around boxes or pilar, sometimes pet are above 20y to use Kill command or just feared or some CC-ed, shot arcane set must be min 40 focus. In arena always will diferent setup and diferent team diferent tact (nuke or survi options-waiting to 15min buf), melecleave or fear chain-rgb. i saw Kill command is not casting on every cd but are casting. Cobra is casting offten for me. On casting cobra sometimes i must break casting to make chain CC. Chain CC are priority in arena. Each player have self playing style. If all will be have 522 gear haste will be higher too. My 2s arena in 90% are 15 min (+2k rat). 3s takes 3-5min.
Its very hard to make CR for diferent style players. rev 48 is playable +2k rat.

simple solutions: You should bind a key in advanced2 tab to put focus/target frezzing trap and push this bind after sleep focus/target (he stay in one place) - works in 100%
i use this bind sometimes without any pre cc if i see he stay and casting for example.
 
i have an issue with my bm in raid the pet steals always the aggro from tank growl is deactivated any idea ?

i assume to did click on "raid" settings for the raid logic? doesn't happen to me in rev 48.

There is a "Growl" check box in Pet setting, make sure it turn off :D
 
yes it is off i get always a message from groupmembers to turn off the growl cause the aggro but its not active ;) and before i start i click on the raid button ;)
 
ok have found the issue i have not deactivated that growl in my petbook xD now it works fine

The best way to use growl is put it in your pet action bar and you can toggle it on or off when needed

I think a more logic idea would be to get another coder on board. Dropping other routines would not make sense as a business model or on a customer service level.
