Each update or patch is a potential threat to losing your account.
Just like some ninja-updates which Blizz does ocassionally even the smallest mod in the gamecore can result in many bans.

Only piece of advice:
Sit back, relax and wait for the hb update.
For those who cant wait and embrace risk there is a beta version in the releases section which ->ocassionally<- works earlier then the release.

UPDATE: Sorry, this was supposed to be a reply to an existing threat but I failed to notice I was making a new thread.

Got to love how naive kids are. Safety..safety..safety..lol. What safety? Devs know very well and very fast when there is some new detection, which does not happen often at all. It is about how you use the bot, not about the bot itself. You like to GB2 for 24/7, you will not last long (go read the diary of that guy that is doing all the shit you can think of and still got 14 accounts banned). You like to use the bot for LazyRaiding, you should be fairly safe.

Enlighten yourself lost souls..

haha Stoyo, that guy was doing all the dumb things the " not what to do when botting" and he had 14 accounts on the same IP blizzard will mark that IP and all the accounts on it, btw he was also doing what gold farmers do 24/7 in the same spots and everything. I have 20 accounts all been active and running since 2011 none banned a long with my main account since 2006 that I use combat bot on all the time.

Its all down to botting like a real player that is all. I could go on but no point I dont give a shit if another person gets banned own fault end of story.

^ This. Generalizing safety like that is like saying "Hey... Smoking Cigarattes is safe. Surely there's no problem with meth!" It's not all or nothing. There is a method to account safety which allows players minimum possible chances of detection. The biggest factor in this, obviously, is the security of the bot itself. I'd much rather wait and have confidence than lose an account because devs were lazy and just launched without thorough investigation. If people really want to be that impatient go use one of the bots that has hundreds of weekly bans.

I call the bullshit card on this one... gtfo

OT: Blizz doesnt care about you botting.. get real. If they wanted to stop hb, they could, be sure. Its not rocket science.

Blizz investigates reports. Thats it. You want to see the ah bots on my realm... up for months, and o so clear huggin eachother on
the same spot, running in a train to the mailbox??? Want to see the feckers farming timeless island in the same bot train.

From a business perspective, blizz wont do nothing more then needed, aka investigate QQ reports about bots.

More and more know it, see it, and the perspective changes from ... wtf, a bot.. lets report him to who cares, bots fight better then some real ones
and blizz wont do shit so leave it be.

They all make em money in this dying game. If you cant see wow is at its end, you are even more retarded then i thought allr.

So you're saying the court cases are just a facade?

Edit: Of course they want to make money, but obviously if you're not cautious you have higher chances of getting reported, meaning attention directed from blizzard. That's probably not a good thing.

So you're saying the court cases are just a facade?

You really believe...blizz devs can program a game like this, but they cant stop a bot created by ( all respect ) home programmers in a basement?

Not doing a thing shows lack of care to the community, even bigger then just the player base, its a company. You need to show you care. How much
easier can that be by payng 500 k to court cases if you know the botting comm makes you 10 fold that ....

They lose much more then just a player base by not doing something. Its a company, learn how the money flows.

True, if you bot careless, you will get reported, and then maybe investigated. But be real, half of the players cant even see who bots. Prolly most reports come from fellow botters.

I never saw one, since botting is alive from the start. But since i bot, i see em everywhere.

Like.. EVERYWHERE

Then they would just ban one account (The one reported) instead of multiple to maximize their profits.

Are talking about different people here razer? The guy had different servers, was changing IPs, was changing profiles all the time... You can foul someone else about the 20 accounts and no bans, not me.
If the bot is so good, lets make a simple math here: 1 lifetime HB session = $25. 1 day of botting ~ 10k gold x $0.75 per K = $7.5 per day per account !!!
So if the bot is so good, why charge a mare $25 and give it to everyone instead getting the $25 every 4 days?
Or maybe Devs don't know even better than you how to stay ban-free? Or it is so hard to run 200 accounts and make $1500 per day? Or maybe you think they sell 200 HB accounts per day?
Discuss?

I hardly see a botter on my server unless they are gathering or botting in BG's maybe AH botters but meh I am hardly at the AH.... Also blizzard makes money from botters and gold sellers, even if we dont play the game 100% correct. As long as they are making money and keeping the subs up I really think they dont take a huge care into getting rid of botters all together.

Like this, they dont want HB to be sold in Germany. so they taking them court but why dont they just take the whole of HB to court like they did with glider and it got shutdown. I say they see that more people are using bots to help with things here and there and is keeping subs.

But they are making another game now with a newer engine another BIG MMO called Titan, I can see they stopping botters on that, that is for sure.

My 20 personal accounts are live and running well for over 3 years, Just bot smart not dumb and dont get on anyone's bad side.

You are wrong! Blizz is huge company. Those that care about sales are not the same people that take care of your in-game crap (the GMs, admins, Customer Service Reps). First guys think how to get more income, second guys think how to do less work in their shifts and maybe provide players with better in-game experience. They don't go manually chasing spirits to find botters. They get reported for them. They are spotted by various scripts, etc. And when you get reported by a few players, they will check your activity and ban you and all other suspicious account from that IP. Cause next day a few more reports will come for that IP = more work for them!

He was not and even stated they was on the same IP, Im not going to argue with a mr know it all. And you just another noob with bots dumb and blames the dev's of HB just like every other person who gets banned. I used to multibox over 20 accounts at once got reported a lot by other people, guess what I was using combat bot while talking to a gm the whole time.

It was amazing "retard face" more or less I dont give a shit if anyone believes me. I know a lot of botters who have had there accounts for a long time and no ban, few warnings about selling gold and AH spam but that is all. I know some of my full time bot accounts was flagged 2 years ago but im still botting on them ah well you will learn to one day how to do things right.

I am not going to argue with a brick head like you, you are stating that HB is detected and can read our every move....dont bot at all then.

Tip. Dont use public profiles create you're own, Dont bot 24/7, bot at decent hours that a player in your country would bot, dont use gatherbuddy as if you are alone. So much more I could say but you will learn from you're own mistakes.

I rather see a brick head like him then someone like you who brags about being o so pro at botting.

Just stfu with you'r nonsens about doing it right. Its all to chance, nothing else. If i spot you and i report you in a nice thoroughly explained ticket, im sure you will get ur ass banned.

No one believes you bot on the same account for 7 years and then on 20 accounts with that. Your so full of shit i cant even close the lid on that trashcan anymore.

But as you say, you dont care, but guess what.... neither do we!

So, razer, you making $150 per day, don't you?

I bot for fun with 20 accounts, I make way more then that, being a game developer myself from Indie games and mobile.

If blizztard really knew so much about HB why is it still in the game? They have millions of dollars, making another game a long with a exp for diablo which they removed the AH due to gold sellers and botters making a lot from the real AH. Why dont they just ban them all and get diablo bot crushed.....

So far you are running around questions like a dirty liar.
It is my problem if I am botting or not and how I am botting if I am. I am not the one claiming hes been making $150 from a game per day the last 3 years.

Haha, Im not pro at botting no one is, you are botting Im just smarter then you and play it more safe while making a extra $100 a week from doing nothing. But from all you're posts you are just a negative nancy who likes to prey on other people on this forum.

then again $100 a week is nothing I know that HB team makes well over 5k a month with just selling HB by itself. Better get back to work since HB is down cant afk DB untill it is up :(

Good luck on making anything with botting and wow. When you got the cash to splash its a great hobby :)
