Hey Guys,

i was wondering how the best Char Setup would look like.

I thought....

TANK: Warrior
Healer: Dudu
1. DPS: Rogue
2. DPS: Warlock
3. DPS: Shamy

so with this Setup, everyone can join the Party at lvl15 and do the RAF Dungons...
There will be no item that could be used by 2 Chars.

suggestions...?! =)

Palatank
Druid/Sham healer
Ele Sham
Mage
Warlock

;>

Warriortank
Druid/Sham/Monk/Pala healer
Ele Sham
Warlock
Owl

;>

and more, endless possiblities.

Kick the rogue out.

Complete Bullshit AOE till very high lvls.

And the Warlock too, if I remember correct.

Retri/prot Pala und Druid tanks over anything else.
Endless AOE damage.

Ya go for AoE dps and dont forget mana issues at low levels so Shaman would be nice. Also get a pala tank and only pala cause sometimes your healer gets left behind/stuck and tank has to heal him self (A warrior can die in this situation)

so..
Tank: Pala
Heal: drood
DPS: Shamy
DPS: owl
DPS: lock

shoul be enogh aoe?

I've been doing this with my own 5-mans for the better part of 2 months now. I wouldn't worry about gear too much. You'll be getting 'bags of helpful goods' after each run and you'll be outleveling most of it very quickly anyway. I've done 5x Monks, 5x Druids and 4x DKs (with a priest heals) and never had any problem with gearing.

A few observations from my experiences;

1. DPS - For leveling Frost Mage has been my highest DPS class, followed by BM Hunter, Frost DK and Feral Druid. WW Monk, Balance Druid and Ele Shaman are decent but not until later levels. The Warlock, Warrior and Rogue CCs are not very good so they are typically on the bottom for DPS.
3. Tanks - Paladin is the best, but I find Warrior, DK, Druid and Monk pretty good as well. You really can't pick a bad tank, the CCs are all decent.
4. Heals- Shaman is probably best and then Druid. Try to avoid Priest and Monk, the CCs are not great although some are OK at later levels. I've not tested Paladin heals.

I use questing until 15, but I no longer try to keep them all together for the 3x exp. It became too much of a headache to stop/start and babysit them to make sure they were all getting RAF credit. It's faster and less hassle to just let them go on their own. You can use the LogMeOut plugin to log each out once they hit level 15.

Nice.
i wont worry about the gear.

Tand and Heal should be Pala / Dudu. but what are the best aoe classes?
i thought warlock has nice aoe...!?

what about 5* RETRI pala, with no healer
retri should have higher damage than prot ( question? ) while leveling at least and since each will be tanking each one will take only 1/5th of damage and they can heal each other
(didn't try just wondering )

or even better 5*PROT pala, they take less damage, heal them self more, and best part they get AOE very early (consecration)

5 BLOOD DK would probably be much better (a lot of self healing plus you start at level 55) but you can't queue without "healer" class and moving from dungeon to dungeon takes a lot of time plus you have 15 min "you entered too many instances"

also just in case you missed it number of DKs you can have on same server was increased from 1 to 11

Can you make a small guide with the 5 man honorbuddy setup for the 5 man raf dungeon running ? and olso how much time does it take to go 1-80 with this set-up ? .

"Experience. There is no substitute."

Mind sharing which CR's you like best? Do you worry much about bans when you're 5-manning?

I'm currently doing:
Tank: druid
Healer: druid
Elemental Shaman
Survival Hunter
Demonology Warlock

The hunter does 40-50% of the dps. L26 right now.

I'm doing ...

Tank: Warrior
Healer: Priest
Ele Shammy, Hunter BM, Mage Fire. So far I've found Mage to be the lowest DPS. The tank is doing 40-45% of all damage done, next is the BM Hunter. This team is ~level 50, I have another team, different make up around level 40 ish. I'm using my own botbase and CCs throughout.

I am currently running a 5 man Team, too.

Setup:
Druid - Tank - Superbad
Paladin - Heal - Singular
Hunter - BM - Singular
Warlock - Demo - Singular
Shaman - Ele - Singular

My impressions:
Druid: works good, always 1st in dmg, high survival
Paladin: sometimes does nothing, results often in wipes.
Hunter: strongest dps class
WL: Can nearly reach Hunter
Shaman: by far the worst...

My team is currently lvl 62. :)

I'm on my 13th 5-man group and I've done all the classes at least twice.

We're fairly limited in terms of quality CCs, especially at lower levels (hint hint fps ). Luckily, Singular does very well for Paladin, Hunter, Mage, DK and Shaman. Most times you'll find that your tank is top DPS until you get into BC/WoTLK dungeons, but that's not a CC issue it's just the way the game scales with content right now.

I find TuanHA's CCs very good and they have a lot of customization options. But they are intended for high level content, they don't always work very well at lower levels. This is the CC to use for Monk and Rogue.

PureRotation v2 seems to crash frequently when using it with the IWantMovement plugin (which is pretty much required for dungeons). And again, it's intended for higher level content. I did get it working decently with my Fury Warrior but still doing about 3/4 the damage of my F Mage and BM Hunter.

I rotate my play times and take days off here and there, do some crafting on occasion and buy/sell stuff on the AH. Just don't run 10-12 hours per session and you should be fine.

If you really want to go for speed leveling, you're best bet is to use the following setup;

Tank: Paladin
DPS: Frost Mage, BM Hunter, Frost Mage (or any mix of Hunters/Mages)
Healer: Shaman - be sure to set the Healing Purge % to like 80 and you'll never die

BM Hunters and Frost Mages are very good DPS from early levels and require little to no tweaking. They get even better at higher levels once you open up Frost Bomb and Blink Strikes. There are other classes/CCs which might do slightly more DPS but not as consistently and easily. The less time you have to spend babysitting/tweaking your CCs, the less headaches you'll have.

I think 5x Paladins would be good too as someone suggested earlier in the thread. I might give that a try next.

Hello guys, would be someone that kind to explain how can we raf 5 accounts + run dungeons? A guide ( or even a link to one) would be highly appreciated.Thank you

Tank should be definitely a paladin! I used 10pala tanks for each RAF setup I had, probably the highest AOE due to HOTR,Consecretion and Avenger's Shield in early levels. Barely needs any healing even without heirlooms, if you get the glyph which enhances one of the seals that causes you to heal the party with each swing, you will be better off.

This :) I'd also like a guide. When you RAF let's say 5 druids, how do you make 1 tank, 1 healer etc.?
