My name is virus2001, and I have been using HonorBuddy for a long time now - since Pirox died in late 2011.
I have earned over ?400 and many millions of gold, lost about 20 accounts and lost my 4 year old main account over time. I lost 14 accounts in the April "banwawe" - they were only 3 weeks old -.- Lot of the gold I earned was spend on my guild by buying stuff, friends and to power gear my chars. And then i was a big mount collector - Spending lots of gold on that shit! I started to sell gold in start March 2013, so I have only sold around 1M, and yeah, I could have made lots of ?'s if I didn't care for the game.
It have gathered me a lot of experience and information on how to "bot safe", but when Blizzard constantly trying to get to us, it is hard to keep up with what they are doing to stop us.

I wish that everyone in the botting community (you here on the forum), get the best possible experience out of HonorBuddy, and therefore I will continually update a "botting diary" with relevant data on my botting experience and what my bot?s are doing on a day-to-day basis, as well as what I do to (hopefully) avoid the ban-radar

I make use of random generated gather profiles, that makes it more safe to gather. I swich profile every hour for max security! This meaning that I never use a profile more than once!
I use roboto's Tool to generate these profiles, you can Google "xxxxxxxxx" if you want to use this great tool!

I only use a profile once! So when the bot changes to at new profile after 45-75 min., it its random if it gets a JF or a VotFW profile.

• 1.) Simply because if I did, I would make ALOT lesser than now. If I DE 1 ring, I get ~2 Spirit Dust, that sell for ~6g per ring or I could transform them into Mysterious Essence, that would sell for ~6,2g/ring or Ethereal shard that would sell for ~4,35/ring. HOWEVER, I get 8,9782g/ring if I sell the rings to a vendor. So that would be kinda dumb if I DE them
• 2.) All GTC/Expansions are paid with my PP (where all my sold gold's money go) or directly though my buyer.
• 3.) I cannot come in details about who, but just make use of Ownedcore, there are a lot of gold buyers

How long is the break? Is it just Logmeout plugin that logsout then relogg after a timer?
Also do you buy your new accounts with gold or money for the earnings?
How do you buy the gametime?

Depends what are cheapest. Atm. I can get Battle Chest for ? 3.75 and Cataclysm for ? 5 by buying them on Battle.net, so here I use my PP. GTC and MoP I atm. buy for gold

So, my two farmer accounts on server 3 are now level 85 and have 500 in herb and mine. I have decided that they will farm in Northrend for mats there, simply because I have not yet enough money/gold to purchase MoP upgrade to them
I have one MoP upgrade I will use for one farmer on server 2, because I think it can earn me most gold on that server, until I have enough to purchase more MoP expansions
The other non-level 85+ farmers are leveling in Cata and I see only small stuck/quest issues, so that is great.

My banker account on server 2 are also up and running as the banker account on server 1, and are farming fish and Skyshards. I think this is much better than they just sit and do nothing at all other than the shuffles that only take around 1-2 hours a day (when I get my 90 farmers back)
I get around 60g/stack fish I sell and I will soon make some statistics on how many fish/stacks in hour

My old farmer account I have tried to sell are going well. I have had a bunch of potential customers that were interested. One of them I got rid of here the other day for 40?, so that is cool

About my supervision time, I will say it is still around the 80% atm.

First off, sorry for the late update, I have simply not gotten the time, because of another project I am doing

Nevertheless, here I am again with an update

All my farmers are farming in Northrend, till I get money to buy MoP upgrades to them, they will also soon run out of game time, so I will serious need some gold soon
The mats I farm in Northrend sell one day, and not the other day, so I am using my AH bot to do all the dirty work, and I myself spend around 3-4 hours/day setting the bots up, getting out of stuck and etc.
As you can see on the update, I have started to level my first farmer on server two, because I think it can make most profit there. I hope that I will in the next couple of days, have enough money/gold to buy 2-4 MoP and maybe some game time too

I have a lot of trouble with the bot atm. it won?t do some quests and the biggest problem is when the bot dies, the bot simply won?t go the corps, but will spirit ress, costing LOTS of hours where it could farm, and lots of gold on repair bills. I have submitted a thread, and the devs say they know about the problem and are trying to figure out what to do.

From what I see atm. I get around 4-7k pr. farmer per day, so that?s 1/2 of what I get when farming MoP mats. But I will later on in this project (maybe in some month) try to ONLY use BC accounts and just farm Northrend mats, so I don?t waste 25? on Cata and MoP. I will try to get some more statistics about the Northrend farming, when I have the time

The fish are kind of good business, and my banker accounts are up and hitting there five Skyshards each. So in a near future, I will sell the mounts for ?'s
The fish are sold every day, and sell for like 75+g stack

My old farmer accounts are both sold, for around 40? each, so that is great!

About my supervision time, I will say it is around the 30-40% atm. I am programming on a website atm. and just want it done, so it is hard to pay attention to the bots. However, I look at them nearly all the time, because I got two monitors, but every time I look over to the bots, one or another are stucked, dead, need help etc. etc.
It is absolutely killing be because I do not have all the time in the world atm. so I sometimes put a big Netflix on top of the bots, and watch some series

So, not that much to say
All the bots are running, as they should, they have started to farm in Cataclysm and are doing around 8k/day/bot
The one level 90 farmer got banned 72h, so I am going to sell that when it gets unbanned again
I need GT on all server 3 bots, and will soon need it on the tree other farmers that are still running, think they have 3-5 days left.
I still run with a good profit, so I still do not lose Money - yet However, six accounts will need GT and MoP upgrade and I will need one more account for a new farmer on server 2. The Price for all this will run up to around 250? where I only have around 150? WITH all gold I have in stock atm. so are 100? short. I could without any problems skip some days on server 3 and just go for server 1 and 2, till I have the needing ?'s to get all up and running

My banker on account 1 have farmed 11 Skyshards, so I have one Mount ready to sell for around 25?

About my supervision time, I will say it is around the 30-40% atm. I am still programming on my website. It is hard to pay attention to the bots

So Log me out plugin isnt helping at all?

Well LogMeOut does log you out when teleported, but do that seems more like a human than the bot just "trying" to get out of stuck? Maybe a Little, but what would a real human do? Definitely not just log out, he would just fly to the next node, without any trouble.
So with a GM teleport - No, I would not say LogMeOut help

I would like to share that i had my main running a herb and ore gathring script that also posted items on the ah when bags where full and collects gold out mailbox etc.
I got a permaban for posting way to many things on the ah house, i apealed and got unbanned and so i switched back to private buyers and i'm now making around 130 euro's a month.
Botting 2 days in a row CoD all items to couple buyers, and then log of for 16 or 28 hours, and then so on.

I used the money from first month to buy new account SoR and leveled that up to 90 just the other day, and i'm probs going to double my profit.

I was going to use my old pc as server to let my bots run on that so i can use my laptop to play other games.

My question was, what would you suggest me in terms of buying account, gathering mats(I'm using custom made scripts) or what do i need in a computer to run multiple wow instaces and bots?

Hi Mobstar.
Try to keep yourself away from SOR accounts; Blizzard are much after these accounts because they know that quite often is not the rightful owner making use of the account. This will result in a problem for you, as they likely will ask for proof that you are the rightful owner.

Right now, there have been much talk about the LCP Detection, and I'm quite sure that this is how Blizzard has taken us in gathering. However, there are a solution to this in the MoP zones and it is just that you only use a profile once and only for around 5 runs (1h)! This means, of course, a lot of work to have new unused profiles (not public) all the time, but our dear friend Roboto have a solution for this! Search "rndbuddy Roboto" on Google, and you will find the tool

With regard to computer, you do not need a super strong one. I am running six bots in WoW and two in D3 and can easily sit and watch movies on Netflix and code simultaneously without problems, on a reasonably good computer. Just be sure to put your FPS in game to 20 when it is not selected. My computer is around 50% CPU usage when running.

So, basicly i am doing the same stuff, 8 toons with all random generated profiles.
as far as i've seend and read those profiles really do not trip the lcp detection, whats your personal opinion?

No, they will not!
Simply because you do not use the same profile more than once.
Just be sure not to run a profile for more than around five runs. This will not trigger the LCP detection, because the server simply cannot learn your path that fast.

I have now been running these profiles for around a week now, and yeah I really cannot say for sure at the moment, but I am almost quite certain that these profiles does not trigger the LCP! I have on four farmers only gotten one banned, and that one only for 72h! If it was an LCP trigger, they (Red. Blizzard) would defiantly have given it a perm ban!

So this art of randomization works?
I have atm no accounts left but maybe i try it out too.

Btw has GB2 new stuff for randomization?
I read something in an other thread.

So stay away from GB2 if you don't use randomBuddy, or you will get caught by LCP Detection!

There is a new Randomization function in GB2.
AND:

GB2 does not "shuffle the order waypoints are visited". The randomization built into GB2 is to add a changing offset to each waypoint every time the waypoint is visited. This offset is 5-20 yards in any direction in the horizontal plane.

The most recent GB2 allows you to scale this randomized value. With a scale of '2', the 5-20 yards is now 10-40. With 3, it is 15-60, and so forth.

BUT:
This are the function on pic.2, and will do that the server do not catch you THAT quick, but eventually it will, because - as you can see on the pic. - It still not RANDOMNIZE your waypoints.

So yes, there are some new features, but in the end, they will not help.
So if you want to be 99% sure not being caught by the LCP script, NEVER use the same profile for more than five rounds!

Atm. the only settings are where the wow windows are placed on my monitor. I am running the bots for 12h/day in one session because they are only leveling, but as soon as they are 90 i will change the settings in HBRelog
