Gold has fallen to $0.06/Mil. But why are people still buying more PCs/Keys to bot?

Is this some sort of hidden Economics 101 strategy whereby you attempt to beat the economic downturn/recession/depression by producing more?

While the market is certainly not favorable at the moment, it's still possible to make *some* money with some RNG/luck, if bans continue to be non-existant.
Buying a new PC right now to bot D3 is stupid, but new keys/D3 copies can be paid for with some luck.

With the lack of bans for a while, people are confident atm.

However, I wouldn't bot on EU at all, whereas in the US, gold is starting to get difficult to sell as well.
 
Right now botting for uberitems only.
I got lucky yesterday finding a mempo with 189+ Int and 6 Crit.
I am sure it will bring some "real" money :)
 
Cause money can still be made.. Last time I checked most of my RMAH transactions had nothing to do with listing gold... On that note my gold still sells though not entirely most of the time....
 
because sometimes you get lucky and find a item worth 700+mil gold
even with 6 cents a mil thats nice :)
 
But ur luck is like 10 x worse than 2 months ago. Because despite 0.06$ gold price, amulets/gloves are trash now, IK armor went from 22mil to 2mil (basic version) etc. So yeah buying PC / making new group of bots now its waste of money. But hey they will realize it after month "wtf i did".
 
can anyone tell me what the reason of making these posts are, what are you trying to get out of it.... every one of these leads to the same back n forth conversations, typically amongst the same exact people o.o

Botters will always exist and continue to water the stuff down, we are all guilty of it

base mempos 50k previously 10mil a while back, base IK reigns < 2 mil, previously 25 mil

Most people have what they want by now, I havnt upgraded anything in months myself
 
i didnt spend any money on a computer. used wowgold to pay for my d3 copies. (about 40US values worth) and i dont pay for electricity cause i live in a barracks :P

i just make pure profit, dont need to recover any costs.

same here with the wow gold, paid 65k each a few times, lately 80k
