After the patch, sales have gone to crap and nothing is selling for money or gold....how is everyone else doing?

I read that gem conversion is the way to go but it's a bit time consuming. I have only been botting for a few months and I am wondering if I should only keep good legendaries and rings and ammy's. I keep other things that I think might sell or have sold in the past but my stash is filling up. Do you guys think after the initial glow of the patch wears off things will go back to normal? Thanks in advance :)

normal being totally fucking shit were absolutley nothing sells? ya lets hope for normal ! YAY

Don?t stash ammys...
With the new crafting system, noone would buy them anymore.
I have crafted ammys for my bots today. Invested 10-15 Mio per Bot.
As result I got ammys that would have cost 100+ Mio in the AH before the patch....Very sad.
There are even more crafting plans, dunno what else could get obsolete right now, but I am pretty sure vile wards will become worthless too...

lost my optimism too lol. everyone is either crafting or quitting :) that's why nothing sells
one would expect peps to buy gear for pvp tho dont know why that isn't happening

You must be on EU?

Paypal Greece/Spain/Italy 1 trillion Euro each, the European D3 economy will spring back!

As soon as iv read patch notes i knew this patch will be bad for us, if they had implemented decent pvp then crash of demands for items for craftable slots could be compensated by demand for items with pvp properties, but right now we just lost about half of our profits.

The patch is not bad for us, it is much better than the 1.0.6. In order to see any change, we will have to wait for the gold sinks to overcome the HUGELY MASSIVE amounts of gold that everyone, including myself, has been saving. This will work just fine for the gold selling; item selling is a bit different. Now that craftable jewels and gloves are accessible to everyone, it is more than likely that these will no longer sell. But this is just jewels and gloves, all other valuable items will sell at least as good as before. Keep in mind that now there are cheap upgrades, many people might return to try it out and they will need other items as well. Same goes for the PVP, i know in the current state it is kinda retarded, but i think Blizz are working on it, so the next content patch will be awesome.

Dude You're clueless, its possible to craft items for several slots, not only gloves, and speed of obtaining boa demonic essences required to make each craft is similar to obtaining gold required for it. There is no gold sink in this patch.

Sold 250 mil worth of items over the last 2 days on GAH and 1.5 bil on the RMAH

The AH isnt dead. But everything is pure luck. You can have 100 accounts and everyone is selling different from 0 to 60%. Also hold in mind: The AH is bugging every day. Today morning it was down for 7 hours... Dozenz of ppl cant access the AH because they dont know that they have to clean the cache. Blabla. Everything of this crap drops down our sales.

it's been shit, true, but in my experience just regular shitty.
hasn't gotten worse, no.

I've been trying to sell gold from this Monday again - as for now, sold only 5 mil. Out of 400.
This is second week in a row when gold is selling only 5-10 mil in 6-7 days. "New gold sinks" my ass. And the new BoA items killed the last remaining rare items that were in demand on GAH. I personally would have been better off with another 1.0.6, yes that one was totally useless, but at least it was relatively harmless.

Oh, so I am clueless? Tell me then, what other spots people who aren't clueless put RAREs in? Besides the bracer nothing else comes even close to being worth anything.. I for example put strongarms there, so this is why i said jewels and gloves. Moreover, exactly how isn't a 100k amulet click not a gold sink? For the price of 100 clicks you could buy better amulet on the AH. I did not try crafting on 1.0.7, but back at the beginning crafting rates were hilariously low; knowing BLizz, i assume this hasn't changed. Hence this is a legit gold sink. Hell, you remember how people kept bitching for month(s) when the repair prices went up? I never thought this is a gold sink, since i (playing manually) never felt the increase..

the second day that AH was working on EU i sold 2b+ gold and few items on RMAH. Its a personal record for 1 day... but yeah there will be ups and downs always. Today maybe just one item, not sure though :)

you can always make new characters and move stuff there if stash if filling up, but id put them on AH and wait.

"price of 100 clicks" what kind of gibberish is that ? And yes, plenty of ppl are crafing godly amulets with Ms+as+crit dmg+crit chance for just few millions, just read official d3 forums. And for me at least, amulets were delivering about 30% of overall profits from items. Plus gold price hasnt rise a bit, how is it possible if everyone is crafting hard ?

After 100 amulets, I finally found an alright one worth more than 5M on the GAH. It was still like 1 of 3 over 100 that had both crit and crit dmg on it.

The people on the forums posting are the lucky ones, not the person who crafted 300 and has nothing to show for it. Why would they post and get laughed at?

At the rate of crafting good gear and getting essences, you won't collect enough gold to craft everything on your own. It's still a sink.

i confirm . crafted 120-130 ammies only 3 or 4 had cc + cd or cc+ias and only 1 was a decent upgrade but had vit and needed all res so none was an actual upgrade

Considering that only small percent of active players post on forums and only few days passed since patch introduction, number of ppl getting godly amulets from crafting is huge, it wont take sever weeks til everyone got better amulet than we usually get from drops. And ratio of getting essence is pretty similar to getting gold, the drop on average ratio of 8/h, and at same time gold profit should reach 500k from pickup plus 250k (average, i took this number from daily GAH profits divided by 24 ) from item sold later on ah. Each boa total cost is 125g (100k + essence from salvaging legendaries) which leaves us with very tiny margin of 250k at best, and in reality its probably non existant because im selling on gah to highest bidder which is far less profitable than carefully pricing each item which most legit plaers are going. Besides, fact is that gold not only hasnt raised in price, but its not even selling at blizzard threshold, there fore stop being dellusional ppl and denying the obvious.

And how much did it cost u ? 12 mln ? Lets see what happens after 1000 crafts, bet that u will get amulet worth price paid for it.
