What are the chinese farming in Halls of Lightning?

I am in 5 guilds and all of them have the paladins in HoL. What is going on in there?

Idk what they are farming, but they pick paladin's because you can stack mastery and make them invincible pretty much in those level instances.

Oh nvm I figured it out. They are farming for "Book of Glyph Mastery" on high pop servers where that goes for 800g a pop.

400g/hour, 20 hours 8000g
20 bots 160.000g
thats what we chinese and also not chinese are doing there.

20 SoR's in a bulk 360.000g
3 days of farming =480.000g

after 2,5 days accs are paid.
still 4,5 days to profit

4,5x160.000=720.000g
700.000g sold to website: 350$
4 weeks: 1400 $

after 7 days of farming (free time is gone), throw away the not yet banned accounts. gametime is to expencive.

The math you do is always the max profit. Assuming bots don't get stuck, disconnects power downs etc... So better say that the amount if gold for bulk sors is about compensated in 1 week

1400 a month is better than minimum wage full time in the US....

Now my question is given power bills and things such as that what is the actual profit/loss(electricity, cost to buy wow xpacs or however it is done, plus the cost for the bot keys, and the initial investment on the computers needed to run 20 bots at once(or 10 at a time), to actually make it into a profitable service.

for that matter what bot's/plugins do they use, do they use custom programmed things etc?

i took my level 90 ret pally down there and got 268.52 gold before i was locked out 3 runs all done by hand on a average i turned 89.5 gold per run
89.5 x 4 accounts = 358 gold per run x 3 runs per hour =1074 gold per hour

I just wonder how long you can do it before to be ban? Blizzard doesnt monitor the trading between toons?

i have to agree, no need. they are 100% disposable accounts.

unfortunately this is why our SOR accounts are going up in price. They are not unlimited.... :/

Forgot to turn my brain on, sorry.
But is it soloable for a level 80 SOR retri paladin? I checked the names listed by Phelon on armory and they are all in level 85 with ilvl 372 retri gear and retri speced.

Not able to complete at level 80. At least not with SoR gear. I have been questing all of mine to level 85 before I start running just so you have decent gear + fast clear.
